USPS, Amazon Partnership Delivers Good News for Online Shoppers.

A new partnership between Amazon.com and the United States Postal Service will initiate Sunday package delivery service in the New York and Los Angeles metropolitan areas.

This new partnership with one of the largest online shopping and distribution services in the world is a true testament to the value USPS provides to American businesses and consumers alike.

Sunday delivery will be offered to all Amazon.com shoppers, making this the first time in USPS history that Americans will receive packages on Sundays from USPS letter carriers as a regular service.

This is good. And it's probably why my local Post Office has been hiring for carriers for months. freshwest Jan 2014 #1

The starting wage is $15.00 an hour.
I always choose USPS for package delivery from Amazon.

My local post office has been very busy all year long. The USPS has initatied a lot of online services, such as email to let a person know there is mail in their Post Office box and if it's worth the time to drive in. Can get things done by email or mail.

The only complaint is they haven't remodeled the lobby since it was built, which makes it look a bot shabby inside, but it is all kept clean and it all works well.
