http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2014/01/15/christie-falls-further-behind-clinton-in-potential-16-matchup/Polls have suggested New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) hasn't paid too much of a price for his office's bridge scandal, but a new one suggests he's lost ground in a potential 2016 presidential campaign.
A new NBC News/Marist College poll shows Christie trailing Hillary Clinton by 13 points in a prospective 2016 matchup.
Last month, Christie trailed by just three points.
The poll shows Christie continues to lead the field of potential GOP candidates in the primary. His lead in that regard is down slightly from six points to four.

And, I didn't even think of because I haven't ridden in cars lately.. especially that long without a pit stop.

(32,701 posts)to discuss the possibility of a Christie run, and actually coaching him on how he can "come back" and win? This is not a game! This country is facing serious issues and we should have high expectations when it comes to potential candidates. Even before bridge-gate, Christie disqualified himself with rude and disrespectful behavior, not to mention mismanagement of tax payer dollars.
These pollsters and pundits need to get real and focus on finding the best of the best. They live in this country too and should be concerned. No more ridiculous talk about Palin, Paul, Ryan, or Christie's chances.

(13,190 posts)In fact polling means nothing it's how those 13 keys line up for 2016 and that all depends on how Obama's performance in his second term is.One bad sign is you have these stupid democratic Senators trying to block his foreign policy on Iran which might prevent him from getting the foreign military key.
