Did life lock protect the Target people??

Or was their ID collected also. Limbaugh and Hannity are still pushing it. This breach should tell the truth, if life lock really protects this would be a very good sales tool. But I think it's just more snake oil OR they would surely be all over the radio bragging about it.

thought by many to be selling snake oil, but they continue to sell especially on radio talk shows - not sure about TV.

They claim they can catch misuse of credit cards almost immediately

Press is one of the best lefty radio talkers.

I haven't followed this story very closely ... have there been any reports of people losing money or their cards having fake charges on them as the result of this Target breach?

... but I don't think Life Lock prevents your info from being stolen or collected, it just catches it and deals with it quicker so that you don't lose everything. I don't do business with them, so I'm not sure. But that's how I have always understood a "Identity Protection"service like that to work. I suppose they are recommending protective measures like closing accounts, daily monitoring, that sort of thing.

Has anyone heard yet of examples where people who shopped at Target have actually suffered losses? Have there been attempts to use the stolen information? There may have been some, but I haven't heard about it yet. I would think the MSM would be interviewing victims if it were happening.

in America that we are just getting used to them. Why hasn't some one totaled all the cost of obstruction by the Republicans in the last five years. 40+ votes to end ACA at 1.8 million a pop, 24 billion government shutdown and all the other shit I don't know about. They have pissed away enough money in the last 5 years that would support a shit load of jobs.
