Of course, I feel the same way about the Olympics in general these days. It's a private enterprise that's selling its soul to corporate sponsors and putting taxpayers on the hook for winning hosting rights.

Why shouldn't the IOC pay for the infrastructure to support the games or choose a site that already has it? That's what those corporate sponsors are there for right?
