We were going through a scourge in our pine forests since it has not been cold lately, but this will help end it for now.

The pine beetles are ravishing the Colorado region, and now have begun popping up to New England areas.. this constant freezing weather will kill them off. Does anyone know how many days below a certain temp it takes to kill them?

all day and a wind chill advisory was put out. I am tired of this cold weather. Even to cold to ice fish with this wind chill.

with no precipitation for over 6 weeks. California is screwed.

We'll get a glancing blow from the cold, temperature on Wednesday won't get out of the 30s, but we'll be back to the 50s by Friday. And dry.
