My blistering e-mail exchange with a Texas wingnut radio yakker about Wendy DAVIS

The wingut attack on Wendy DAVIS is way ON. There was an article by Dallas Morning News reporter Wayne SLATER describing that her personal story about having been a single parent was OFF, that she wasn't divorced at 19 only until a couple of years later. What she said was that she was a single parent. Then it turns out that the first spouse paid for some of her higher education and that there might have been some infidelity and that he got custody of the kids. Uh, divorce starts out with separation and separation means being single.

So this wingnut radio yakker claims to be all for decency (and I ask, is it possible for a Wingnut to be DECENT?!1) and he claimed that she "fudged her resume" by claiming to be a single parent while not being divorced.

This is what set me off:

So I Replied:

Yip, didn’t take long to beat on Wendy DAVIS like a drum, or, the way Jeb Crow Shrub (of all people) described Joe SCARBOROUGH’s on-air style as “beating baby seals.” Yesterday there were side by side t.v. screens and CNN was featuring the Purdue shooting while the Faux Propaganda Network did whatever it was that was not Purdue or CHRISTIE.

“Fudging resumes” is about employment. DAVIS was describing biographical (not employment) items, and a divorce becoming final a year or two or more after separating (= “single parent”) is not a “fudge”. What part of “lowlife jerks” do we not know as the Wingnut DNA?

The Eternal question about a wingnut: How can a DECENT person be a wingnut? I think there must be some different kinds of medications besides the ones that control mood swings: There must be one that suppresses Shame and Conscience that wingnut yakkers and politicians use.

Now, as for Wendy DAVIS. I don’t know her. My thing is to WIN against you jackass wingnuts for the first time in 20 years. I don’t want to live to see a Secessionist Texas with YOU and your jackass ILK in charge, is that such a reach?! Apartheid Texas.

I'm still not clear on what the huge 'fudge' is.

Then again, I fudged a job application to get in with my current employer. I left my MA off of the application because I was afraid they would use that as an excuse to NOT hire me as a janitor.

How can I excuse a fudge? Well you put your best foot forward when you try for a job.

As a voter, I don't expect any candidate to be a perfect person. Nor is that my main issue. What I would say for Texas is, things like this

1. Texas state taxes are some of the most regressive in the nation
2. The poverty rate in Texas is higher than the national average.

What are the candidate's position on these ISSUES?

concerned about are completely Democratic and humane. You can look them up.

You missed the part that this Democratic candidate is being personally slimed and it's going to get uglier. This isn't the playing field of policy.
