have no problem whatsoever putting the demands of a recalcitrant foreign government and its lobby ahead of the national interest of the United States of America and the peace and stability of the world

7. Huge K&R. Once the War wagon starts rolling it is almost impossible to stop.

NOW is the time to prevent the next war. If the Senate passes this bill and the negotiations fall apart, years from now we will look back on this vote the same way we do on the Senate vote authorizing force against Iraq (the IWR). We know what happened when Democrats used that vote to polish up their "tough" on national security creds. How many died?
