The news today of layoffs at Target headquarters in Minneapolis is a clear example of our broken system. CEO pay goes up while workers lose their jobs to outsourcing or rich corporations expanding their use of sub-contracting (i.e the same jobs with less pay and benefits).

(17,235 posts)I won't be wasting my gas and spending my $$$$ at Target anymore!! Target SCREWS UP with their customers on a colossal scale with identity theft and this CEO jackass gets rewarded??? What an absolutely "F"ed up nation! I NEVER wonder why we are going down the tubes.....

(4,192 posts)people rich, keep the workers poor, and consumers like cattle. One more place to not shop at. Just disgusting how these executives feel justified in stealing our livelihoods and abusing workers overseas.
