They put them on sensors that keep them lit from Dusk to Dawn and keep their property lit like a Summer afternoon.
Afraid of the dark?
I had a neighbor several hundred yards away who installed one that lit up the side of our hill,
and shined through our bedroom window.
One of the reasons we moved to this area was so we could see the stars again.
This multimillion candle power mercury vapor light destroyed the night sky.
We waited until he needed a favor from us,
and then explained our problem with the light.
We came to an agreement,
and now can see the stars again.
