Update on Alaska DV victim

our kid went to the preliminary hearing to testify if called on the issue.

The abuser is in jail and this would have moved the process forward. Everyone for the prosecution showed up and because they did (the public defender was counting on him being less organized due to bail hearings all day) that he got a continuance until the 18th of February.

The victim, a 20 year old girl must have a brain injury because she's awake but doesn't know who her family is. She is probably going to be sent to Seattle for care there.

I heard Michael Steel on Chris Matthews defending Mike Huckabee's half wit, half assed comments about women being too something or other to 'control their libidos' and therefore needs 'Uncle Sugar' to 'give' them birth control.

First of all, fuck both mikes. Secondly, fuck them. Thirdly, it would be slagging easy to control my libido if I had to look at his face all the time.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!?!! Fuck Republicans.
