Mike Huckabee's comments on contraception have been unfairly misconstrued!

He wasn't saying women who expect their health insurance to provide contraceptive coverage HAVE uncontrolled "libidos" they want "Uncle Sugar" to pay for -- he was saying Liberals THINK women have uncontrolled libidos that require "Uncle Sugar" paying for them.

This delicate distinction was pointed out to me today by two thoughtful Fox viewers. They were very concerned about the unfair characterization.

I was going to reply, but the stupidity of this was too great.

How do you counter people for whom this is a rational line of thinking?

"Oh, nooooo! I wasn't saying Mike Huckabee is an irrational moron who hates women because he's stuck in a medieval view of other people's wombs as his personal property -- I just meant that conservative Christians THINK they're irrational morons ... and therefore, are."

Arggggh.
