Revisiting David Wildstein's 'deceptive behavior' in 1979

David Wildstein, once Governor Christie’s high school classmate and now his nemesis, was a political operative who was out for himself even in high school.

That was the gist of a personal attack made by the governor’s office this week against Wildstein, who was involved in closing access lanes at the George Washington Bridge last year and whose attorney last week accused the governor of lying about when he knew of the closures. Wildstein resigned from the Port Authority amid the scandal.

Christie’s aides dug deep into the past, referencing an incident from 1979 when Wildstein was a high school student and running for a seat on the Livingston school board. A teacher, they said, accused Wildstein of “deceptive behavior.”

However, they did not mention that Wildstein and the teacher, Albert Adler, later made up and said they simply had a “misunderstanding.”

the guy must he squeaky clean, although being connected to Gov. Christie does not speak well got him. But even that is not proof of lying in and of itself.

for the junior prom, he cheated off of me on an algebra quiz and he wore a polyester leisure suit to the homecoming dance. How can you believe a guy like that?

thought. Shall we ask the teachers of New Jersey if they feel "deceived" by Christie? Desperate and pathetic attempt by the Christie camp. Even for them it was a bit low.

with my previous response, but in reality, the whole I was class president and he was a nerd routine is telling of Christie's character. I was a cool guy with cool friends...he wasn't. Without delving any deeper into that comment it just screams asshole! Christie reveals more abut himself unintentionally here in his effort to belittle his accuser. So you just told us you were a shallow jerk in high school and its only gotten worse from there.

rough draft and his handlers told him he'd sound like an even bigger tool if he said it. Christie's claims against Wildstein really smacked of an eight grade girl pissed because someone else liked her boyfriend. As to the social studies teacher, Jon Stewart said it best "That shit really does stay on your permanent record."
