(3,580 posts)After this 24 hours of snow, cold, ice and thunder lightening, I can't believe I would live somewhere colder.
I was thinking when I retire I would sell the farm and move to a condo in Miami and eat cuban food, drink mojitos and toddle over to the beach once a day.

(11,441 posts)fryin' up some fish together.
You have a penchant for enjoying the little things in life. Youre not one to get swept up in whatever the hot new drama is, youve got bigger fish to fry. You might even have a literal fish to fry. Youre a great person to know, someone who loves to kick it and talk about whatever. Fish fries, shrubs, sports, politics, it doesnt matter. You be you.
I'd say there's truth to that. And I went with Harrison Ford. And Bright Eyes.
NCarolinawoman
(2,825 posts)I went with Harrison Ford ,as well. For singers I chose the guy with the checkered shirt but was looking for John Denver, James Taylor, and a whole lot of other singers. Don't watch any of the tv shows, clueless about the movie quotes.
I think I got Wyoming because I chose the horse. I do think the description would fit me, however.
WorseBeforeBetter
(11,441 posts)I went with the horse, as well. But my mind went to "Animal Farm," which is kinda sad, actually. LOL
And I went with the "The Tao of Steve" stoned Hitler quote. Hmm, I watched that years ago, may have to Netflix it again!
NCarolinawoman
(2,825 posts)Maybe his shirt was plaid? I voted for him cause he looked like he might be a folk singer. Just a wild guess.
SouthernLiberal
(407 posts)I can't imagine what they are talking about. If they'd had such a choice, most of my answers would have been 'None of the above'. And of course, what they missed is that the older I get, the further left my politics have gone. Also, that I moved from New Jersey to South Carolina to get away from snow. Which hasn't worked out all that well lately. On the other hand, we're expecting temps to approach 80 by the end of next week.

Very happy in Chapel Hill, NC. If not here, on a tropical island, please, maybe Hawaii?
How come there wasn't a Subway franchise? Or a photo of a beach?
And the TV shows? I mostly watch HBO series...the only one in their choice I'd actually
seen was Hawaii 5-0 and that I only watch for the scenery!

Youre a smart, friendly, and relaxed person. You can get along with most folks relatively easily - its just not a challenge for you. Youre easy going and not likely to get involved in others business. You just keep doing the Mich thing, because its working for you.
I do not think I want to leave where I am (Washington).
