2. I miss mine.
Not dirt, but street. And I owned it before the street missiles of today. But it was still fun to feel that footpeg touch down.

5. Of those two pairs of images
how much of a cultural impact do you think each pair of images has on their respective genders?

8. An interesting comparison.
The football players have to be specifically trained to read those signs. How much do you think the training by the images on the left in the OP contribute to specific behavior by the public shown by the images on the right?

15. In the case of Oregon football, there is a definitive interpretation:
An objective to be carried out in accordance to the established rules, regulations and fundamental goals of the game. Public consumption of random images do not enjoy the same structured solicitation, and will be skewed to support individual narratives.

17. Yep.
A football game is a "closed system". Cultures are anything but.
And while the symbol in the football game is specifically designed to not resemble the intended action, the popular images are frequently interpreted to do exactly, literally, that. |

though.

14. I don't think so.
The motorcycle pic is not a commercial image like the magazine cover and the movie promo poster. Both images on the right show the entire person, while those on the left crop the subject matter somewhat.
