Tire collection at the side of the Rada. According to my wife, threats have been made to smoke them out should they vote incorrectly. No wonder there's an unusual number of unanimous votes lately.
Now heading down to the site of the January riots. Here's a boarded up storefront on Hrushevskoho St.
Damaged construction site, Hrushevskoho St.
Inside the first barricade on Hrushevskoho St. Each street had several barricades in place. This was the site of the January riots.
A catapult inside the barricades. This was not the catapult used in the January riots, which did not last that long. This is a new, "improved" version, apparently never used.
Protestors "supplies" in front of Dynamo Stadium.
Another memorial behind the barricades to those who are now known as the "Heavenly Hundred."
Logo of one of the groups associated with Right Sector. Right Sector is considered to be even further to the right, meaning more fascist, than the Svoboda party.
Photo memorial to the dead.
