Who Said It?

He went on the say that he opposes the outright legalization of alcoholic beverages, lest that give alcohol "legitimacy."

"The problem with anything, a certain amount is okay. But there is a tendency to go to extremes. And all of a sudden, if there’s advertising and legitimacy, how many people can get drunk and still have a great state or a great nation? The world’s pretty dangerous, very competitive,” he explained. “I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the drunkards might be able to put together."


Reading that, what sort of person comes to mind?

I do not expect him to talk like this, EVER.

This just does not sound like him at all, to my way of thinking.
