1. Hey, it's real, but

not because whites are "privileged". But because of societal and cultural prejudices. A look back in history shows at times even whites have been victims of prejudice and discrimination and even slavery.

In fact, the very large majority of conservatives I know acknowledge that this prejudice exists. Mind you, the conservatives I'm personally acquainted with don't include any hardcore teabagger types or overt racists. Life's too short to waste time hanging out with people like that.

Okay, I perhaps should have stated an exception: posters only here to troll DU and who are eventually going to garner the attention of MIRT. But among people who are legit DU participants? Yes, I'd be very surprised indeed to discover anyone who believes prejudice and discrimination against non-whites doesn't exist. Hell, even for some jackass who doesn't object to those things, not to acknowledge their existence would require a degree of delusion that calls for professional help.
