Because 50 times was not enough!!!

Dems and GOPers have found a compromise concerning the Sustainable Growth Rate formula for Medicare physician payments.

I guess the GOP decided that too much agreement between Dems and Republicans was not good, as they decided that they would pay for it by getting rid of the mandate.

This is going to gut the bill, of course, as there is no chance to get such a bill on the Senate floor, but I guess they may try it once again, because, who knows, the 51rst time may be the one, or something like that.

House Republicans are planning to bring up a permanent “doc fix” bill next week — paid for by repealing the individual mandate in Obamacare.
It puts House Democrats in an awkward position. They have to either vote against repealing a Medicare payment formula that has long vexed doctors — or against a key, but unpopular piece of the Affordable Care Act. And because the bill isn’t likely to come up in the Democratic-led Senate, the problem will still be unsolved.

Time waster the House has been involved in since January 2011.

This bill will go nowhere even if Dems are cowardly enough to vote for it. It will be trashed in Senate and Obama won't even get a chance to veto it which he surely would if it got to his desk.
