Look at the construction of the nest: how intricate the base is with its interwoven twigs and how then it is then layered with soft nesting material for the birds. They're not stupid!
If I had a flatscreen I'd have this on regularly! It's quite calming and restful.

you could find them in the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge near where I grew up by the hundreds at almost any given time.
