The Dick of a war criminal had a heart transplant today

He's in the ICU

http://www.npr.org/2012/03/24/149308964/dick-cheney-recovering-after-heart-transplant
<snip>
Former Vice President Dick Cheney is recovering after having a heart transplant, his office says.

HIs office released a statement Saturday disclosing the surgery, and saying that Cheney has been on the transplant list for more than 20 months.

Aide Kara Ahern says Cheney is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit of Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., after undergoing the surgery. She says the former vice president does not know the heart donor's identity.

when he didn't have a heart to begin with? His old oil pump must have gone on the fritz, so they took him to the mechanic to have a new one installed.

Oh and it goes without saying, he did not jump over any line...and this is not a nice procedure or easy life after the fact.

I am not that surprised he made it into the list either.

Also the cocktail of anti rejection drugs at times make the patient quiet sick.

He will have a better quality of life, but the question is how much. Also his cardiac issues may mean a heart attack.
