The four anchors there grabbed the desk and froze. While the backdrop behind them just danced and flapped and jiggled. It looked so flimsy! I kept thinking - good thing it was firmly attached. Nothing fell. But it sure was dancin' back there behind everybody on the set. They're probably gonna rerun that clip on that station - all day long. Worth it. It was a great little piece of tape.

That set is full of hanging lights and stuff. They had no idea how strong the quake was going to be.

They went quickly to coverage. That too was good.

I just stayed in bed.

The CBS crew had four people just sitting there with the set swinging behind them. If it had been bigger they could have gotten seriously hurt, on camera. They should have done what the KTLA anchors did for safety.
