This pipeline extends from Samaria, Michigan to Longview, Texas. You have to read the whole article for its history of major leaks just in the Cincinnati area. Can't wait for that Keystone pipeline, yep!

Fuel spill at nature preserve 'absolutely terrible'

"I smelled a fuel, oily smell," the man told a 911 Hamilton County dispatcher at 8:15 p.m. Monday. "I looked down over the bank ... (and) one of the waterways has oil spilled all in it ... it's terrible. It made me sick when I saw it."
The man discovered what officials now say was an approximately 10,000-gallon crude oil leak in one of Hamilton County park system's four conservation areas, Oak Glen Nature Preserve...

This is at least the third time in the last six years that oil has leaked from the pipeline in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Monday's spill, at 10,000 gallons, or 240 barrels, appears to be larger than than the most recent leak, but smaller than two before that...
...In January 2005, the same pipeline ruptured near Carrollton, sending 260,000 gallons of oil into the Kentucky River. The slick fouled a large section of the Kentucky River, killed some marine life and forced Louisville officials to take precautions with drinking water from the Ohio.... Much More.
