To all of those people to claim true progressive were against the law

I going to give you the short and sweet run down of what happened to me.
When I finished school I was one of the millions of young people who benefited from the law. After graduation I needed five surgeries on my ankle. I was born with a shorter right leg. The ACA enabled me and millions of people like to have coverage. Think of that when you bash the law.

(18,402 posts)you're doing well after your surgeries.
My husband's aunt was also born with the same condition. She is of course much older than you--in her 90s. She had surgeries back in the day, but I doubt they were as successful as yours would be today. She has always worn a significantly built-up orthopedic shoe. But I must say, there is no one spunkier! At 91, she gets around like nobody's business, despite the fatigue and pain she must suffer.

(12,319 posts)I just went through 5 extensive, reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries in 15 months....there were also serious complications because of hematology issues.
Before ACA, the insurance company could have cancelled me for going over the lifetime limits. I'm thankful they can no longer do so.
