SCREW YOU, TN Legislators

A bill to legalize medical cannabis failed in our legislature.

SCREW YOU, TN legislators. You self-serving, ignorant gun-humping backward CCA-loving pricks can't even set aside your greed and your cruelty to help:

Patients with MS

Patients with Cancer

Returning vets and others with PTSD

Children and infants with seizure disorders.

People with chronic pain

You would far rather see sick people and their parents remain criminals for seeking a treatment that helps. You evil, cruel PIGS love hurting the citizens of this state as often as you can.

I hope all that for-profit prison money gets hugged at night as you all count it. I hope you ALL suffer the pain you are causing the rest of us. I honestly do. Enough wishing for enlightenment for you assholes.

Maybe if you legislators suffer a lot, you'll wake up and stop loving money more than mercy.

I wish on all of you who voted "no" a short, painful life with no relief for your pain. You are dogs, not humans, and that's an insult to dogs

You will never change otherwise.

Oh, and: SCREW YOU ALL!

The hilarious thing is, cannabis is the BIGGEST CASH CROP in TN.

You know some of those TN legislators probably smoke the finest herb available.

But Jeebus makes them special.

I hate to say hate but right now I am hating and pronouncing curses on all those jerks who call themselves leaders.

Thanks for the solidarity, RKP5637

pain I saw first hand several of my family go through, it was horrific. We have a bunch of sociopathic and greedy assholes in positions of power, they should be nowhere near!

And then morons for voters that keep them in office. A lot of places suck, and there is just no nice way to say it, they simply suck and are totally F'ed up! Too many voters have their heads up their butts when they vote, that is, if they're not too lazy to vote.

but money and power are alluring lovers I suppose. They turn even the brightest hearts to stone.

As soon as I am able, I am out of the South for good. I have family members all over the country, including Colorado, but I want to be close to family in the South a little while longer.

I know there are ignorant beasts all over - like the Tennessee legislators who make bank on others' suffering - but it just seems the majority of Southerners will NEVER rise up and demand their rights here. Ever. Most Tennesseans are too timid or apathetic to even register to vote, and discussing politics makes their eyes gloss over unless you agree with FOX news.

I'm sick and tired of waiting for Tennessee to grow some mercy and compassion. The Bobble belt is a hellhole of cruelty and I can't stand it for very much longer. I have no hope of health care here thanks to our rich fuck Governor Haslam, and if I'm going to die from lack of health care, I'd far rather do so in a more altruistic state where the politicians actually care for their citizens and where the citizens demand their legislators acknowledge their right to the medicine they and their doctors find most suitable.

Shed a few tears this afternoon for the ugliness of this place, but I'm better now.

Thanks for responding to my thread.

Today a bill to make medical cannabis available legally in this BACKWARDS, GODFORSAKEN STATE failed to move forward in our good old boy, gun-humping legislature.

The majority of our legislators are PIGS who suck at the corporate and government teats and make too much money off incarcerating cannabis users to SHOW ANY MERCY AT ALL TO THOSE WHO SUFFER.

Proof that the South just refuses to join the rest of the nation. They like the prison/slave state far too much. Prisons are their lifeblood here, filling those campaign coffers up nice and brimming over.

And I should note, our own DUer FLyByNight helped draft the legislation they shot down.

They were probably drunk off their asses after screwing their hookers as they took the vote.

Have I noted how much I hate them?

Case in point is the Boonstra woman in Michigan. She is likely a longtime republican supporter and is lying about health insurance to help elect a person who would repeal the ACA. The Boonstra woman doesn't give a shit about how many people here efforts will kill if she is successful, people like her can't think in that dimension.

If they think cannabis is bad or no medical value, then the are just plain stupid or making money from it being illegal. There is just too much science and personal proof of it's value, all over the internet. Free the Weed and Free the People. Oh, and fuck all you hick ass, lying, hypocrite, mother fucking, bible thumping, bribe taking, thieving TN politicians. Are you so sure that your God is going to forgive this corruption that you knowingly commit every fucking day?????

I loved your rant...makes me feel a little better.

And to those who plead "reason," the time of "reason" was today in the Tennessee legislature. Those wealthy "Christian" pigfuckers in our state capitol chose revenue over reason, cruelty over compassion and money over mercy.

They want to vote like scumsucking, backwoods, pharmco-and-prison-lobby-fellating medieval buffoons, they don't get a reasoned reaction from me.

They are slandering all people like me who need cannabis as medicine. They want to call me a criminal for wanting relief. But they are the criminal- minded. They are threatening the lives and well-being of the sick citizens of this entire state.

They deserve neither a reasoned response nor even a nail clipping's worth of respect. I hope they all suffer, and suffer hard, as much as the suffering they have caused others today.

Thanks to all of you for reading and reccing my righteously raging rants this evening. It helps to vent. This vote really does hurt.

A little reverse psychology

But FOX noos has been demeaning mmj lately, sharing all sorts of Demon Weed stories to scare the ignorant Obama haters, and many people here eat up FOX Noos as if Gawd hissownself tells FOX what to report.

The funny thing is, there are grows all over, all around in TN. It brings more revenue in this state than anything else, I imagine.

And many cops here in rural TN don't really give a damn about it.

But I don't want to be a frickin' criminal. I don't want to have to break the law to ease my symptoms. I want to be a free citizen, not a slave to their cruel laws.

I suppose I shouldn't really care about being legal. After all, our TN Carnage legislature through ALEC and funded by CCA have pretty much shredded the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. But I don't need the stress and the risk on top of PTSD.

I can't afford fines or attorney fees, even if I could afford to buy any right now.

My elderly mom says "just grow your own!" ( I love my mom - she doesn't have any vices but she knows it helps me ) but I don't want to risk losing my property just to have medicine.

But, yeah, let's tell them Obama hates cannabis and all the racists who don't already toke will start tokin' for sure

process can be used to bring the question before voters. I and supporters have enough time to get the question on the ballot for November if you start getting signatures by the start of May. If you do get a petition, write it in such as way that if legislators want to change it, they have to petition voters for the change and get voters to vote in the change. My estimate is that legislators are ducking to avoid angering their base.

Your advice is wonderful; seems I read that this isn't possible with our constitution but it's worth checking out.

Our own DUer Fly-By-Night might have some answers. I'm sure he is very down-hearted this evening as well.

Hell, their "base" grows the stuff. The pot farmers in TN are John Deere-cap-wearing, wealthy old men. Those assholes want it to stay illegal; they don't want sick and suffering people to have access because it will cut into their profits..

TN legislators know where to get the best stuff. They just don't want dying or traumatized or seizure-ridden people to get their hands on any of it. They don't want to share their spoils with sick people, damnit.

This is the South where you know your place. Poor and sick people are treated like crap because that's what Jeebus wants, you see.

The Tennessee legislators and governor Haslam are only doing god's will when they deny the poor access to any and all health care. We should suffer and die for Jeebus and CCA.

A lawyer from Morgan & Morgan started up the petition process late last year and had enough votes to get it on the ballot.

Somebody would have to look into the State Constitution and see if this allowed.

I know that the I40 corridor between Nashville and Knoxville is a huge drug corridor and they get tons of dope there each year.

Our Repuke legislators and Governors RAKE IN their farm payments and corporate and government contributions, pay and contracts. They love them some dollar bills, no matter who suffers.

I wish they'd choke on all those dollar bills they shove in their pockets exploiting and oppressing and destroying the lives of others.

One Georgia mother would ask you to care a little more

( The pigfucking Southern legislature in Georgia also denied sick babies cannabis )

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/03/21/us-usa-georgia-legislature-idUSBREA2K1MB20140321

The mother of a 5-year-old girl with epilepsy and cerebral palsy blamed "silly political games" for the legislature's failure to pass a measure that would have given kids who suffer seizures some medical relief through a marijuana extract.

Republican Representative Allen Peake had pushed for medical trials on the use of a non-intoxicating oil derived from the marijuana plant. That oil currently is being processed in Colorado, where it is called "Charlotte's Web."

"We were only asking not to be prosecuted for getting our child the medicine that she needs," the girl's mother, Sarah Caruso, said through tears after the session closed.

"We will be back, because there will be kids who will die during this year," she added. "I will be back with their pictures."

Can you imagine being the parent of a child who has 200 seizures a day? Can you imagine the fear, the sorrow, the helplessness?

Can you imagine finding something that eases that child's terror and suffering - and your own - being denied by fat white pigfuckers who would rather have a few more dollars to stuff in their bank accounts? Can you imagine what a fucking lowlife scum you have to be to be a Southern legislator who would deny relief to babies?

Forget grownups like me. Think about these kids and how Tennessee and Georgia both just said "WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT. JUST DIE ALREADY"

That's what makes this so hard. The pigfuckers in Nashville and Atlanta can't even show compassion to babies. I wish the worst sorts of suffering on all of them and I just can't help it right now.

You have to be the lowest piece of shit human being to hear these kids' stories and then say "FUCK YOU. I'm Gonna vote to keep you having 200 seizures a day just because I mother fucking CAN. Booyah!"

I like your 'Carnage Assembly" very much. They do love them some GUNZZZZ but ask them to give us better health care or jobs and they are suddenly worthless.

Now, if Golden Boy Jethro HAslam signs this new Homophobia legislation, making it legal to bully and to bring religion directly into the schools, it will end up in a big expensive court battle for the state. We've got money for that unconstitutional bullshit, but people's teeth are falling out of their faces due to lack of dentists where I live because there's no money to spare?

had conceal carry permits, then the Carnage Assembly just might take their needs a little more seriously. Or if the above mentioned wanted to carry switchblades, which were outlawed when I was a young teen. and TN's Carnage assembly just gave us knives, so when we all get so poor and sick we can't function, we can off each other, I suppose.

This is supposed to be the "land of the free." Republicans are always going on about it. But they seem to do more to take away freedom than to preserve it.

Except where weapons are concerned. The 2nd amendment is the only one they care about.

ALEC is even linked on our TN legislature website! They aren't even ashamed to endorse those scum-sucking, freedom-hating, USA hating ALEC goons!

There are wonderful people in TN, but the politicians are just nasty people for the most part. I will not be sorry to leave the state, though I do love where I live.

Gov. Dayton (who I agree with 95% of the time) has said he would veto a medical marijuana bill unless MN law enforcement goes along with. "MN Law Enforcement" refuses to budge on the issue (no doubt they'd lose too much asset seizure money) and it's looking real iffy for a bill getting through the legislature, much less doing so with a veto proof majority..
