Gees! Jimmy Carter on Charlie Rose tonight!

President Carter is still one of the most brilliant of our former Presidents. He is sharp as a tack.

If you did not see this, you must witness this interview. It shows Jimmy at his best, which is abso-fucking-great.

I love this guy.

Will post the video if I get the chance. But this is an interview that Democrats ought not to miss. Maybe somebody will post it. It is a great, great interview by a wonderful Democrat.

BTW, They go very deep into politics and international affairs. And Jimmy is as sharp as a tack but lays it down with his soft spoken ways. It is an amazing interview.

Oh! He's 89 years old and still has the mind of a youngster. The guy is just fucking great.

I enjoyed that interview and being reminded of what a great President he actually was.

I can't imagine any of the other living presidents (or Nixon or Ford or Reagan) being so classy, or less restrained by the constraints of how he "should" conduct his life. I've never understood the disdain people hold toward him. As far as I'm concerned he best expresses the concept of citizen politician. It was delightful to watch him banter with Stephen in character, with a twinkle in his eye and such great depth of character (and yes, intelligence). While I don't expect much from his fellow ex-presidents (Bush, Clinton and Bush), I hope Pres. Obama follows his example as he moves forward into private life. Plus, Rosalynn rocks too.

9. The disdain is all manufactured. It is how you control weak minded people.

You stimulate their feeble, lazy minds by constantly ridiculing someone.
The louder you are or the more extreme your rhetoric the more influence you have over those who are lacking the intellect, or who have a perverted view of life. They are marked by misinterpretation or distortion. It also has an intimidating and silencing affect.
The Conservative hierarchy completely understands this and realizing their interests are so unnatural, unhealthy and detrimental for the masses have designed, built and maintain this self-serving machinery. All of which is funded through the brilliant network that funnels the flow for the wealth transfer to the top. Their desire (addiction) for control supersedes any moral, ethical, or religious claim they make. Those claims in themselves are proof of this ridiculous hypocrisy. This slight of hand was so well orchestrated I am in awe. They have their followers believing if it were questioned, would lead them to sure damnation.
