My mother-in-law still believes the old wives' tale that cats suffocate sleeping babies. So my granddaughter came to visit and my very nosy cat came around to check the baby out, and my MIL freaked right out. My cat's a big, fluffy boy like the one in that picture, and he outweighed the baby by a long shot. I think she'd have a nervous breakdown if she saw a picture like that one.
Of course we wouldn't let the cat near the baby unsupervised in any case.
