Even if at this point in time you are disappointed with his record, and a reasonable argument can be made for such a feeling, there is so much time left. I cannot conceive throwing in the towel on a presidency so far ahead of schedule. That's ridiculous. Not only is it ridiculous, it's downright dangerous.
The level of incompetence required for myself personally to give up on an administration 3 years in advance would have to be nothing short of astronomical. And, even as a persistent critic of this administration, I cannot fathom coming to such a decision right now.
So you're angry? Dissatisfied? The proper response is to apply greater pressure, not fucking give up like cowards. If all we do is divert our attention away from the present in favor of future elections, nothing will ever get done. No pressure will ever be applied to sitting administrations. If you think our current electoral situation looks less than promising now, consider what it will be like if we establish ourselves as a party which gives up with 1/3 of a presidency left.
