The point was made that there running all these ads and spending millions trying to get folks like me who didn't need Obama care to vote against it in November.Randi said even though 9 million have signed up that's not going to win you an election.Where as the 80% mostly will.

(21,115 posts)OH and that other 80% (including you) ARE benefiting FROM the Affordable Care Act.
No pre-existing conditions
No copays or deductibles for cancer screenings and other tests
No Lifetime Caps
Maximum out of pockets at around $6000
Fixed the donut hole in Senior Rx coverage
Kids stay on policy until 26
Not charging women twice what men pay for health insurance...
Free breastfeeding devices
Free birth control....
etc.
All it needs is to counter with ^^^ that.....and then say "Do you really want to go back?"
Easy peasy...

(68,644 posts)...already blaming rising costs on Obama.
More and more people have been losing coverage over the years, pre-Obama, and rates began to rise ridiculously around 2,000, and it accelerated.
A good many of those among that 80% felt it in increased copayments and employee shares toward coverage and/or drops in quality of plans.
So they'll need to be constantly reminded of that.

(9,273 posts)Who cannot possibly imagine that *they* could lose their job-related insurance and have no empathy for those who did, or never had it. That only happens to people who make "poor life decisions" according to them.
