FCC commissioner chief if cable companies make the internet two tier. ... then

“If that still results in Internet providers creating a special fast lane for certain services then he would consider reclassifying the Web to make it a regulated common carrier service instead of largely unregulated information service.”

Do you really believe that?

Sounds like another ............. We''ll stick it to you and wait and see if comcast is an asshole rather than change it now to common carrier.

Or..... wait and see about the trade agreement we will write and you won't be able to see but don't complain until after we agree with the corporations and rich fucks and see if its bad.

The status quo persists because there is no general agreement that a problem exists, how to characterize the problem, or the costs and benefits of various proposed solutions.

Translation;

I have the power and authority to prevent this from happening. I will not use that power. I will wait until the corporations have complete control and then I will feebly attempt to rein them back in. Rinse and repeat. I love monopolies !!!!
