A Republican Senate candidate equated food stamp recipients to wild animals in a Facebook post Monday.
The candidate, Dr. Annette Bosworth, is running in the Republican primary to succeed Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.), who is retiring. Bosworth shared a viral image on her personal Facebook page criticizing the food stamp program for inviting dependency

Annette Bosworth is running for Senate in South Dakota. Republican, of course.
If you could bottle the mean juice in her veins, you could market it as sexually stimulant for grisly bears and fire ants.
On her Facebook page:
So, according to Ms. Bosworth, little children should starve until they are old enough to get a newspaper route.
I have a grandbaby. When he stays at my house, he is totally dependent on me for food because hes going through a hard time. Its called infancy. Were pretty sure hell outgrow it despite the fact that we fed him anyway.
Holy cow, Republicans, get a grip. Sweet Jesus said to feed the hungry. He didnt put restriction on that or say Void In South Dakota
This lady is a true republican idiot

(20,818 posts)the other gooper candidates are, none of them are as bad as this ignorant, hateful witch. As much as I don't want to see any of them sitting in Johnson's seat, and as much as I cannot stand the likely primary winner, former Gov. Mike Rounds (who ran this state into the ground among many other things during his eight-year takeover of this state, I could write a book), he, and the rest of them, still would be a lot better than her.
The fact that she's a doctor AND claims to be a "Christian" makes her hateful, nasty, dumbass, mean-spirited ignorant bullshit all that much less tolerable and that much more inexcusable. Unfortunately, she'd fit right in with our current hateful ignorant hypocritical teabagger congress critter, who thinks she only represents those who voted for her or agree with her one hundred percent on everything, the rest of the state can go straight to hell.
Bosworth first got into the race mostly to oppose the ACA, but now that she's finally realizing that that's a lost cause (too bad our teabagger congress idiot is too dim to get that same message, she's still harping on repeal and no amount of reason will ever get through to her), she's onto spewing ignorant hateful garbage against those who don't make as much as she does. Never mind that a high percentage of state residents are on food stamps, and most of those work. Never mind the third-world poverty on the state's nine sioux indian reservations (I live on one of them, where hubby works). Complete and utter and total hate and ignorance. And an utter embarrassment.

Former Gov. Mike Rounds is the front-runner against Democratic nominee Rick Weiland.
Sadly, this is a Senate seat that is likely to turn red.
