2 Reno-area pit bulls impounded for killing neighbor's dog

Two pit bulls entered a Sun Valley home Friday and killed one dog, marking the second time the pit bulls had killed another dog, authorities said.

Ron Crew, a Sun Valley resident, returned home Friday on Bozic Lane to find the blood of his 11-year-old German shorthaired pointer, Buster, in his backyard.

Crew could not be reached for interview, but a friend, Dan O'Day, said he visited the home this weekend to help clean up the dog's remains.

...

Buster stayed in an outdoor kennel with access inside the home through a dog door while Crew was out of town, O'Day said.

On Friday, the pit bulls exited their home, also on Bozic Lane, through a hole in the home's siding, according to a Washoe County Regional Animal Services report.

I had 22 kennels available for overflow until they had homes...I fed and vetted them all on my own dime...I had one rule....no pits.

No Staffordshires...no American Pits...nothing that remotely looked like a pit.
They are a perfect example of breeding gone wrong.A perfectly good dog breed who have been bred for aggression by so many people i'm not sure the breed is savable.

And yes I know there are many Pits out there who are sweet, loving animals....and there are far too many who have been bred for aggression to the point they are too dangerous

They are both self centered irresponsible jackasses who don't give a damn about the lives of others.

so we know who you're talking about. That's the first time I've seen "pit bull thugs", and no one ever wants to define "gun nuts".
