Yeah, it's kind of what you get when you have a literal handful of actual progressives of the 535 members of the House and Senate, the rest being either DINO centrists to outright neo-fascists. Of course your government is going to be ineffective when it's compromised by corporations and their politicians. That's how it's been for the past 34 years.
