Tea Party Support Plummets Among Republicans

A new Gallup poll finds that 41% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents say they are supporters of the Tea Party, while 11% are opponents and 48% are neither.

This continues to be a significant drop from the Tea Party's high-water mark in November 2010, when 61% of Republicans were supporters of the Tea Party.

Sadly the tea party has done great damage to America and the Republicans have used and are using ideas proposed by the baggers.

I don't trust these people on the right. And I have a mistrust of some on the left too at the nexus of right and left. I actually realized this morning that an acquaintance of mine is, for want of a better word, a "leftbagger." Was incredibly shocked to see her start spouting fetid Benghazi claptrap straight from the maw of Fox while simultaneously descrying attacks on ACA and various other policies put forth by the left end of the spectrum. Straddling the picket fence could become painful if you slip. Besides, we thought Birchers and their buddies were long gone after the success of the Civil Rights and Women's Righs movments. We were wrong. They crawled under rocks only to emerge with rabies.

Against democrats and republicans. Especially now that there is a growing percentage of republicans against them.
