Why does Tweety always step on David Corn?

He constantly cuts him off just as he is getting to his point. If I were David Corn, I would not be able to maintain my composure. It's just flat out rude, and makes for awkward viewing.

Tweety has done this to David for years. I think he feels threatened or intimidated. He seems to be afraid to let David complete a sentence because the audience will instantly be able to tell that he is better informed, more intelligent, and more likable than he is.

Turned the show off after that, and remembered why I stopped watching.

Tweety does this with women and with David Corn, invites them on his show but doesn't seem to want to hear them talk. My question is the same for David Corn as it is for women, why do they keep going on his show?

He is absolutely unwatchable with them. I think that Corn is an MSNBC analyst or contributor of some kind and probably doesn't have a choice.

number one reason I don't watch Tweety. David always knows more than Tweety on any subject and Tweety shuts him down to the point where I don't understand why he even lets David on the show. I guess someone higher up is making him do it.

But David Corn shouldn't feel too bad about it. He more or less interrupts everybody.

At least he used to. I quit watching him five years ago.

(MSNBC's Chris Matthews, 5/1/03)

"We're proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who's physical, who's not a complicated guy like Clinton or even like Dukakis or Mondale, all those guys, McGovern. They want a guy who's president. Women like a guy who's president. Check it out. The women like this war. I think we like having a hero as our president. It's simple. We're not like the Brits."

Tweety just blows around with the political winds.

He asks a great question and instead of letting them answer he'll ask it again and again and again in different forms burning up all of their time so we don't get any kind of serious answer.

Tweety sucks and I wish he would lose his show completely and be replaced with a competent pundit.

to the point where she would leave him completely speechless, which garnered his "admiration". Appearance after appearance, he would be left sitting there dumbfounded at her streams of brilliance - all done without the spittle that he would spew trying to make some point while running his mouth at 80 miles/minute.
