Matthews just claimed that Grimes coming out against right to work laws in conservative state like Kentucky is a desperate move. I guess he is ignorant of the fact that Kentucky is not a right to work state, and the last time Kentucky had a Republican Governor right to work legislation was pushed and failed.

(1,290 posts)Because it's "right to work" for less pay and benfits. "Right to work" for a horrible boss. "Right to work" in unsafe conditions.
We don't want those kind of rights!

(2,785 posts)That claim by Matthews was nonsense. That kind of anti worker talk belongs on Fox. Regardless of what state it is it is never a desperation move for a democratic candidate to stand firm on a historical democratic agenda. Matthews has as also been a right for employers to screw over employees advocate.

(14,732 posts)by an almost unbelievable lack of preparation for or knowledge of any of the topics he sounds off about nightly. It's an intellectual laziness coupled with an absolute love of hearing himself talk that makes him impervious to any intelligent conversation his guests try to make. I truly don't understand how he's lasted so long.

(3,163 posts)He uses them based on how they sound, without knowing what they mean. "Right to work" sounds like a liberal agenda, sounds like something that is "for the worker," so he goes with it. He has no idea what it actually is.
