It seems whenever there is an event in the heavens, we miss it because of the perpetual cloudy skies. However, the weather forecast for the 23 and 24 is clear. So just maybe!

Though I love the city, whenever I visit, I realize I could never live there again because of the lack of sunshine.

(602 posts)About the "WTF!" moments the ancients must have had in reactions to these things. It would be fascinating to listen to the speculations in the village chatter. Then again, there is still a disturbing amount of that kind of thing every time there's an earthquake or hurricane...

(27,985 posts)We don't decloud until July 3 or 4th. This month has had a lot of clear and summer like days. Global warming in the long term sucks, in the short term, Carpe Diem, I might just get to see this awesome sight. We shall see. Or not.
