Tea party on life support after brutal primary beatdown

Support for the tea party has dropped to an all-time low, said a new CBS News poll released Wednesday.

Just 15 percent of Americans told the pollsters that they are supporters of the tea party movement today, which is less than half the level of support at its peak of 31 percent in November 2010 shortly after the midterm election when the movement fueled a landslide Republican win to take majority control of the House.

What they need to do...go to Washington with...say...10 30 million old, fat, white 'patriots' on Hoverrounds and demand the President be removed from office.

" . . . 10 30 million old, fat, white 'patriots' on Hoverrounds and demand the President be removed from office."

Old people, white people, fat people and people in "Hoverrounds" have a right to a voice without being ridiculed for something over which they have no control. Classless comment.

that but for the grace of God, so to speak, go any one of us as we age and sometimes our health just degrades.
As I look at some of the people that were there I almost have pity on them. They have bought into a propaganda machine that has both taken advantage of them and deluded them much like scammers on the phone do. Not all but some of them do honestly consider themselves to be patriotic. This to me is as much the fault of the MSM as anyone because they never question the motives of these promoters of the "revoultion". It seems that Col. Riley was missing in action.

She likes to say, "but they're not 'traditional Repugs." Bull! They would not get in office without the votes of Repugs of all kinds. I'm not fooled.

4. Correct. If they were different the Tea Party would have made moves to break away from the GOP

For all their protests that they are not affiliated with the GOP all Tea Party politicians have an "R" after their name.

Tge only difference between a bagger and rethug is that the bagger is actually honest about the crackpot things they believe.

. . . I think the notion of some great rift between the Tea Party and the GOP establishment is more myth than reality. At the end of the day, both are tools of the same controlling interests.
