I am so sick of all this 'new password' needed. I really don't understand why some of the largest companies in the world cannot make their systems secure.

(8,352 posts)Thank you for the link. I also was not aware. I have bought and sold there since 1999, and this is the first time I have had to change passwords due to a security breach. That isn't bad overall, but still this is distressing!

(5,756 posts)I use a FREE, as in beer, password manager called LastPass to manage my passwords across all the different platforms I use (Windows, OSX, iOS, Android, LINUX). It's a great help that allows me to create random passwords for sites and it integrates with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Probably IE too, but who uses that anymore?
I like it because it works on all the platforms I use. It makes it easy to change your passwords and share them among all your devices.
Full Disclosure: I DO NOT WORK FOR OR VOLUNTEER FOR LastPass. I'm simply a customer.

Thanks for the heads up, PR !
