1. Because the others lean right

CNN leans right and Fox News is bat shit crazy, so compared to those actually giving both sides of an issue is a radical sounding thing.

People also tend to repeat what they hear often enough, without any thoughts on the matter of their own. The right screams things over and over, they love to label, this probably taints the waters quite a bit.

A little over 40% of MSNBC viewers voted for McCain. At CNN I believe 42% of the viewers voted GOP.

Over at FOX 90% of their viewers voted GOP.

The truth is there was no difference with regard to voting when it came to the audiences of MSNBC, CNN or the broadcast networks. It was all about a 60/40 split. Only the FOX news audience was drastically different.

The idea that MSNBC has a real liberal audience is just not true. Look at the success of Morning Joe.

if FOX "News" is 120 degrees Fahrenheit, CNBC is 115, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC at 105, then MSNBC seems chilly at 95-100, Current is even cooler but it's not a "major" network and the controllers ie: Com-cast don't want it to be.

The corporate media is the corporate media, the vast majority of it roots for the other team, some of it roots for our team, but they all tow the corporate supremacist line.

Thanks for the thread, Jamaal.

Nothing but a bunch of wannabe Klansmen, WAR and Stormfronter cousinbangers.

MS/NBC are owned by "best not get too comfortable in that cube, Worker 383406" GE and Microsoft; neither one of those are progressive by any stretch of the imagination. Notice how they didn't mention CNBC, which leans so far right, Faux tells it to scoot over.

No amount of fawning Jersey-boy-reunion appearances on The Daily Show will cure Brian Williams of being a hopeless right-wing shill.

If Faux is right and CNN is centerish, then M$NBC must be left, right?

In fact, with the networks being "the liberal media", M$NBC would be like the "islamisocialistextremeleft" channel.

I guess Current would be the makes Marx look like Paul Ryan network or some such.

and fail to correct RW talking heads when they question the president's strength, authority, legitimatcy, or otherwise push their lies and slander you are labeled 'liberal' media.

Don't get me wrong MSNBC and NBC still have their RW talking heads spouting their lies and won't always correct them or call them out on their BS but they are more likely not to fawn over having those types of people on. They'd rather have more intelligent and honest conversations, not completely intelligent or completely honest but 'more' than CNN and certainly FAUX.
