Ever Wonder Why The Romans Fed Christians To The Lions?

Of course I am not abdicating such a thing. The point is that the present band of Christofascists wants to end this democracy and replace it with something the vast majority apposes. This new Christian movement is actually an insurgency because they continue to insist this is a Christian nation and they are determined to make it such.

that challenged the supremacy of the Roman Emperor. Christians were persecuted by the Roman empire because they were viewed as politically subversive - just as Jesus was executed for sedition, not for religious reasons.

It's a whole different ballgame now, of course, and if I had a lion who needed some dinner I wouldn't feel all that bad if he decided to snack on a few fat, juicy Supreme Court justices.

Besides the story is that the lions did not eat the Christian they had a bad taste. LOL. Actually there is evidence that the lions were so scared in the arena they wanted to hide more than eat.

to go live across a large uncharted body of water?'

It's the same question without the carnivores. A kinder, gentler way of pointing out centuries of religious interference in social progress and civil peace.

Because a lot of the ones who survived seem to not get the message that Christ supposedly delivered.
