Well let's see now... just how does this work, Francis?
So our marriages are not even "remotely analogous" to "real marriages" but you wish to care for the children of gay couples? Since you also disapprove of in-vitro fertilization, surrogacy and artificial insemination, my understanding is the only children acceptable are those who would have been conceived in a prior heterosexual marriage. Yet, since neither divorce nor LGBT marriages are recognized and gay adoption is out, does that mean the child would only be recognized as the child of the divorced heterosexual parents, not the married gay couple? Just how do you minster to the child that his or her parents aren't really married because God doesn't approve?
Now for this little matter of "unjust discrimination". I don't suppose that applies to the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which is opposed by the USCCB, or all those lawsuits filed against against gay marriage, or the anti-gay legislation in places like Kansas and Arizona that was sponsored by the Catholic Conference, or the Vatican observer to the U.N. recently denouncing LGBTs as unfit parents in front of the U.N.'s Civil Rights Council, or Archibishop Cordileone calling for a Constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, or Catholic teachers being fired or having to resign for supporting LGBTs or for getting married, or those Bishops and Archbishops in places like Nigeria and Uganda who not only support vicious anti-gay legislation but suggest parents turn their gay kids over to the police. Oh we could go on but I have to ask, just where is this line in the sand regarding "unjust" discrimination?
I guess I'm a little confused.
Sincerely,
A DUer with "homosexual tendencies".
Vatican Reasserts 'No Grounds' for 'Homosexual Unions'

The Vatican has reasserted its long-held opposition to same-sex marriage, as well as the adoption of children by gay couples.
But the new document, Instrumentum Laboris the result of Pope Francis' call for bishops around the world to discuss family issues also says discrimination against gay couples should be avoided and that their children must be cared for without bias, the Christian Post reports.
"On unions of persons of the same sex, the responses of the bishops' conferences refer to Church teaching. 'There are absolutely no grounds for considering homosexual unions to be in any way similar or even remotely analogous to God's plan for marriage and family." the document, released last week, maintains.
[...] Nonetheless, according to the teaching of the Church, men and women with homosexual tendencies 'must be accepted with respect, compassion and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided'."
