Put all the lipstick on you want, a corporatist dem is still a pig. Don't want one on the presidential ticket.

Note to serial alerters... "putting lipstick on the pig" is a old and widely-used metaphor. If you are poutraged, try getting a life.

where she's at. She'd be very hard to replace there. We really need her in the Senate. I totally love the Clinton/Castro and Warren/Castro ticket suggestions, though.

The advantage to Hillary is her entire past has been vetted and re-vetted and scandaled to death. And her husband. Check out Liz's husband. It's unfair, but we see they are always vetted to and their deeds attributed to their wives.

Anyway, whatever was found when vetted, I have been told time and time again that I should not let the perfect be the enemy of the good - or does that old tired saw on apply to Third-Way Centrist politicians and policy?

But DU history shows "prooogreesssivvess" pile on other Democrats but then when THEIR candidate gets caught doing the same thing the whiny excuses begin.

My full support for the ticket.

But if you haven't noticed...the Presidency is only a stop gap measure...sure a Dem can nominate a SC Justice but getting through the nomination takes controlling the House and Senate.

We MUST take back the House and the Supreme Court.

That means getting Dem's elected in all offices from town planner up to the Presidency...

Not that I agree with the lifetime appointments, but as long as they exist, they'd be worth having her there.

And her seat SHOULD be a safe blue seat, as long as nobody else runs as crappy a campaign as Coakley did.
