I found the story via Germany's "Der Spiegel" http://www.spiegel.de/ , but they do seem a bit unenthusiastic when it comes to the accuracy of their articles.

For example, they follow a strict both-sides-do-it guideline when reporting about national US-politics, even when the facts don't fit the narrative. (Republicans block something? Why can't Democrats and Republicans simply get along and meet in the middle?)

And just a few minutes ago I read a badly-researched article on a new technology.
