I wonder when the USA will do this

"Every mother in Finland, regardless of income or anything else, is eligible to get a maternity box after 154 days of pregnancy. It costs nothing, to get it all an expectant mother needs to do is fill out a basic form and submit a certificate of pregnancy from her healthcare provider. I got my box today and this was what it had!"

What a box of goodies. Makes you want to rage against how backward we are in this country.

If I'm correct, it's the doctor's office that initiates the box through the government.

If the box could be delivered to the fetus, then maybe the U.S. would consider it.

After the baby is born they really do not care what happens to it, or the mother.
