Describe your pefect America

Don't just imagine America as it is with the things you dislike subtracted, or with some missing benefits tacked on: Really exercise some creativity and tell me about the America in your heart. It should be a country in the real world, inhabited by real human beings who have not magically been cured of the things that drive people wrong, but a country where the culture and institutions emphasis what is right, good, just, and beautiful. Show me your perfect America.

if you don't understand what a word or phrase means, look it up or don't use it. And you gave this as if it were a grade school assignment. I found that slightly irksome and my response reflected that. Not to mention that this is DU. It's a discussion board and individuals do NOT get to dictate the responses. I can reply as I see fit to any OP- as can everyone else.

Agreed on laws, instead of,, A Greed is law . If greed and malice were defined and prosecuted, if the asymmetry required not to be imprisoned by the proven Greedy bunch, no matter their color, race or creed, we would be in Utopia . Thomas Jefferson warned of infiltration in to our government by way of coin, or an obsolete but plausible phrase " Monied Interests " .
The vacation policies of France, the pot laws of Colorado, and a solar funded, operated government Rail system so Americans and the world could travel, spend money and discover the part of America they don't live in, for FREE .

1. That cares about its natural environment.
2. That has a universal health care system that is world-famous for its excellence .
3. That has a public education system that is world-famous for its excellence.
4. Where only those who give a damn about getting things done for the public good even think about running for office.
5. Where we control the corporations and not the other way around.
6. Where we all treat one another with respect.
7. Where reality TV, fox news, Maxwell the Pig, and conservative talk radio hosts are banned from the airwaves.

There, did I miss anything?
