Lincoln Center Will Live Stream Pete Seeger Tribute Concert

New York’s Lincoln Center will live stream a memorial concert for legendary folk singer Pete Seeger and his wife Toshi on Sunday, July 20th at 4pm EST.

The free concert is a part of the five day SeegerFest, organized by Seeger’s grandchildren. The memorial will feature performances from Judy Collins, Harry Belafonte, Dar Williams, Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary, Tom Chapin and The Chapin Sisters, Guy Davis, Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion, Kim & Reggie Harris, and many more.

To honor Seeger’s love of sing-alongs, the show’s producers are inviting online viewers to participate in a global sing along and post their own singing videos using the hashtag #LCOutofDoors.

The live stream will broadcast internationally at LincolnCenter.org/watch and seegerfest.org and will remain available until Monday, July 21st.

5. I was there...

It was simply incredible!
I sang with the Hudson River Sloop Singers. We did our song, and then had time to see the rest of the show in the VIP section.
I opted to hang out behind the backstage area and chat with everyone.
It is unbelievable, the people who I got to chat with. They are all legends, and we will continue to carry out Pete and Toshi's work, because without each and every one of us (including you) it will not get done.
Yes you all have a part in making things better for everyone, and whatever little you do, is more than what is being done.
