STOP all this aid, until it can be closely monitored. Seems a lot of these countries spend it on weapons, the part that does not go into the pockets of their "leaders" Imagine what the US could do with all that taxpayer money that is sent overseas? Roads, bridges fixed. Unemployed receiving extended benefits. The gop could stop whining about "welfare" recipients (democratic voters!!)

meant more as a "curse on both your houses" than justifying the Israeli actions. If the US wasn't supplying weapons (via cash or directly), maybe this would have been settled long ago.

There is no justice to be found here, both sides have valid claims. There will be peace when each side values human lives over "justice".

Both sides have grievances. Only one side has all the power. To me, that is the big difference.

One can say that the Palestinian Rockets are pathetic, and they are. But what is more pathetic, shooting off rockets in the hopes of hitting some settler, or having one of the highest tech militaries on earth and blowing up kids on a beach with it?

There will eventually be a cease fire. But unless the people of Gaza are allowed to live without being in a walled-in Prison, with free import and export of goods, nothing will change and the rage will boil over again, and the cycle will repeat.
