It looks like the ACA is going back to the Supreme Court?

With two opposite rulings just today, it looks like Justice Roberts may get a chance to redeem himself with conservative voters? He may be able to finagle a way to contradict his last opinion that was so controversial?

This could happen just before the next election and could be very explosive. It is not written in stone that they will rule for the President in the next decision?

1. Heard That It Could Be Fixed In Congress But.....

because the House is Repub controlled - it probably won't be fixed. In the past - for minor word problems with laws - Congress fixed them.

Seems to me this is just another reason to rally the American People to help the Dems win the House and maintain the Senate.

This is a very good reason in that a negative outcome on this would effect a lot of people.

2. There is zero chance that Roberts allows Obamacare to die.

Why do you think he twisted himself into a pretzel coming up with a rationale for upholding it last time? His real agenda is loosening restrictions on corporations and campaign finance. This has already exposed him and his court to quite a lot of criticism from Obama and the Dems, but imagine how much more intense this would be if he had also killed the ACA.

Saving the ACA mutes the ammunition from SCOTUS critics on the left and leaves Roberts freer to push his true agenda. And he has a lifetime appointment, and doesn't give a shit about criticism from the right. In fact, he probably welcomes it as it helps him appear to be bipartisan.

3. The two rulings today will be harmonious after en banc rulings.

The 1st circuit court ruling will be reversed en banc.

5. There are outstanding suits in teh 7th and 9th.

It will probably go to the SCOTUS at some point.
