He's down 51% to 49% and the gap is widening.
YAY! I hate that ass. I used to live in his district.
Different places are starting to call it already
Yay, the fuckstick lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm not a fan by the way)

(12,155 posts)Barr is getting creamed! There must be some minuscule point on which he is infinitesimally less assholish than Loudermilk, thus rendering him anathema to the teahadists.

(39,343 posts)He's a big pusher of impeachment and other teabag nonsense.
He's on the verge of being unemployed instead of on the fast track for House leadership.

Glad to see the last of this dreadful man, although I think Nunn would have had a better chance running against him than Perdue.

(12,155 posts)Kinda hard to decide which one is worse. I'm more familiar with Kingston via his slimy congressional career.
My question is, which one is easier for Michelle Nunn to beat? My feeling is that virtually all Republicans in Georgia will vote, zombie-like, for any Republican candidate, in November.
I hope some of them won't be able to hold their nose to vote for whichever jerk is selected, the "RINO" (Kingston) or the "crazy one" (Perdue) -- as though there were any substantive distinction between these two sociopaths -- and that the Dem turnout for Nunn is huge in Nov.
I've learned not to get my hopes up here, but our chances look a lot better than in most U.S. Senate races in the Peach State.

(32,083 posts)I'm watching the whole thing from next door in South Carolina. I get my TV out of Augusta, so I get to see all the rancid campaign commercials. Both of them are sorry excuses for human beings. Can't wait to see what kind of lies Perdue spews against Michelle Nunn, given the way he spewed falsehoods against Kingston. Not that I'm defending Kingston in any way. He was no better.

(653 posts)Against Kingston, Nunn polls ahead at 49-41. Against Perdue, she polls ahead at 48-42. Where she and Jason Carter are really gaining in current polls is with independent and undecided voters. There really is a feeling that these races are going to be influenced by strong anti-incumbent sentiment... I just hope they can keep up momentum.

(30,674 posts)do you think he'll stop appearing on Real Time now? That jackass gets too much airtime, that's what gives him influence. Who cares about his piddly campaign?
