I'm getting a Post-9/11 and Pre-Iraq War Vibe

Is anyone else getting the same feeling?

We all obviously remember the atmosphere after 9/11. The demonization of muslims followed by the demonization of Saddam. The emotional use of the deaths on 9/11 to further an agenda.
The synchronization of talking points with the "Murdoch countries" of America, Britain and Australia.

I'm getting exactly the same feeling now with the demonization of Russians and the concentration on the Ukraine incident.

The activities of ISIS running amok in Iraq seem to have dropped off the media radar.

What's the endgame for all this?

1. We are different and our President is different. I may be indulging in wishful thinking, but I

don't believe we will go down a similar path to the one that led to the Iraq war.

3. In fact this could be more like the Post Gulf War I period

when we put sanctions on Iraq to weaken it.

Laying the groundwork for the next president.
